Ahhh, warm holiday memories that bring a smile to my face….my brother and I standing over the pizzelle maker for hours on end while Mom made pizzelles for the entire neighborhood at Christmas.  Memories of the anise flavored batter wafting through the kitchen and of the taste of that first warm pizzelle as it came off the pizzelle iron.  Simpler times for sure.  But now how I look forward to pulling out the pizzelle maker and spending a few hours walking down memory lane – and still enjoying that first warm pizzelle.
