Hmmmm, what to make for dinner?!?!? After shuffling around the fridge, I came up with some asparagus, pancetta, onion and sun-dried tomatoes.  Feeling like a contestant on Top Chef (‘Chefs, open your baskets!’),  I smiled as I realized that all I needed was the addition of a few eggs and – wallah – frittata for dinner!  If you haven’t made this treat for a quick dinner, you must add it to your repertoire!

Ahhh, I think I could make a small fortune helping Italian based companies translate their website content to english!  I chuckle at some of the best intentioned translations.  I was recently poking around the website of a rather well-known Italian pasta maker who offers a wonderful repertoire of recipes.  But alas, every time I find one that tickles my fancy, I realize that the recipe is missing some key details – what type of pan?

Tomato season is here!!!! My mind is racing with ideas for new recipes and ways to use these little beauties – I have Fourth of July, Big Mama, Little Mama, San Marzano, Beefsteak tomatoes all ready to turn ….does life get any better than the taste of that first fresh tomato from the garden (salt shaker in hand of course)?  I had a few friends over for drinks and antipasti ‘a fuori‘  last evening….what a beautiful night to be sitting out under the stars.
