It’s so simple, but so delicious! I’ve looked at lots of recipes for this dish, both in English and Italian, and they are all very similar. The combination of sage and garlic gives the beans a wonderful taste. The sausage is optional, but I love it, so I always add it.

These 12 hours days, 6 days a week means I open a lot of cans. Fagioli all’Uccelletto con Salsicce looks & sounds wonderful. It will be just the thing to have on hand for a quick lunch or a filling dinner. Saturday is my day to cook and I can’t wait to make this. I’ve never used sage in beans before.
